How Will I be assessed?
CFA® candidates are assessed by a combination of multiple choice, item set (mini case) and essay questions, depending on the CFA® level. Read more about taking CFA® exams.
How long will it take?
It is recommended that candidates spend at least 250 hours preparing for each level of the CFA® program. This means that it should take up to one year to prepare for each level and three years for the full programme.
