CIMA Membership and Assessments
Becoming a full member of CIMA is a mark of your professional status as a management accountant and is achieved through passing all levels of the CIMA Professional Qualification to become a Passed Finalist. Beyond that you will be able to demonstrate at least three years of professional experience.
Membership and Assessment Fees
In order to study for CIMA qualifications, you need to register as a student member of CIMA. Exam fees are also required to be paid in advance to the CIMA.

Taking CIMA Assessments
Taking CIMA Assessments
ALL CIMA modules (except CIMA Certificate) are assesed by three-hour written external examinations are held twice a year (usually May and November).
CIMA Certificate exmas areheld by computer based assessment (CBA) at CBA centres. They may be taken at any time of year.
If you wish to sit Managerial level exams, for the May exam diet you must complete all Certificate level computer-based assessment (CBA's) by 1 March.To enter for Strategic level you need to have completed Managerial level. To sit the TOPCIMA exam you need to have completed and passed all three Strategic level papers.
CIMA has examination centres worldwide. These centres are of the highest standard and comply with CIMA requirements in terms of accommodation facilities and access.
If there is no established centre in a student's country, the student will be required to find a professional person who is willing to invigilate their examination. Students should approach the local British Council office, a University College or college of higher education.
